This course provides a foundation of knowledge and a variety of approaches foreducating nurses in the clinical setting. Relevant educational theory will be introduced to provide a basis for clinical nursing instruction. Assessment and evaluation strategies for the clinical setting will be explored. Practical approaches and suggestions will be provided to help nurses transition from a clinical practice role to the role of clinical nursing faculty.
