Statistical Analysis for Healthcare and Healthcare Economics

This statistics course incorporates an understanding of evidence-based practice,statistics and a working knowledge of statistical software programs. Application ofstatistics to nursing and healthcare issues that require measurement, analysis, anddecision making for education or health care improvement is required. Emphasis isplaced on the application and solid conceptual understanding of statistical inferencewith different study designs to facilitate knowledge, appropriate use, and interpretation of results and evaluation of various statistical procedures as it relates to healthcare economics for the graduate level prepared nurse.
