This course incorporates advanced nursing theory, educational models andconceptual frameworks as the underpinning for the education of clients and learnerpopulations, health care delivery and evidenced based practice that will provide afoundation for the student to transition into the graduate level nursing role. Thecontent includes grand theories, caring theories and middle range theories and theirimpact on clinical practice, education, research and cultural competency. Additionally, the students explore the concepts of the nursing metaparadigm.
